Community Work

Alongside her coaching, training and professional-development work, CoachTAC has founded and led community initiatives designed to provide practical support, create opportunity and help people facing difficult circumstances move forward.

The initiatives

Distinct Programmes, One Purpose

Each initiative is separate, with its own focus, beneficiaries and way of working.

MADAV — Movement Against Drugs and Violence

CoachTAC founded and leads MADAV – Movement Against Drugs and Violence, an initiative focused on drug-awareness, violence prevention and helping young people make safer and better-informed choices. MADAV works through education, community engagement, awareness campaigns and youth-focused interventions designed to help prevent drug misuse and violence.

A Meal A Day

A Meal A Day is a TAC Foundation initiative created to provide food support to individuals and families experiencing hardship. The programme reflects a simple principle: when people are struggling to meet basic needs, practical help should be available with dignity and without unnecessary barriers.

WINLAB — Women in Leadership and Business

WINLAB is a TAC Foundation development initiative focused on women and young people. Its work is centred on empowerment, development, access to opportunity, practical support and helping participants strengthen their ability to move towards greater independence and personal progress.

Ministry of Help

Ministry of Help was established in Lagos on 1 September 2018 as an arm of TAC Foundation. It was created as a practical community-support point where people experiencing financial difficulty could access essential assistance with dignity. Through its heavily subsidised community shop, clothing, shoes, bags and other useful items, including donated nearly-new and brand-new goods, were made available at very low cost. Ministry of Help also provided staple-food support to registered beneficiaries and, where necessary, limited transport assistance for people who needed help getting to important appointments, interviews or other essential destinations.

Drug-Free World Community Work

CoachTAC also volunteers in community drug-awareness and prevention activities connected with Drug-Free World. Her involvement includes supporting public education and community engagement aimed at helping people, particularly young people, understand the realities and consequences of drug use.

Humanitarian Recognition

CoachTAC has also received recognition and awards for her humanitarian and community work. Her social-impact activities reflect the same philosophy that guides her coaching: helping people move from where they are to where they want to be, and creating access to support, knowledge and opportunity when it can make a meaningful difference.
